Paisley Marie
Paisley is known as the jack of all trades when it comes to music. Paisley comes from a family of musicians from South Carolina. She has been pursuing music professionally since she was 12 years old. Paisley is currently the Lead Vocalist for She Might Get Loud as well as a private music instructor. Paisley refers to music as a vehicle for emotional expression and communication. She also believes music makes life meaningful. A fun fact about Paisley is that she is a major Swiftie and has seen Taylor Swift in concert 8 times!
Sam McGuckin
Sam identifies as a 29 year old rock guitarist ... when he is not making a living as a software company guy. Sam is originally from San Diego, but has lived in South Carolina for years. He started music as a teenager but put it aside for a few years to pursue a career in software development. Sam picked music back up nearly a decade ago, and now plays the guitar for She Might Get Loud. The challenge of continuously learning new songs with a group of friends keeps Sam inspired to continue music. !
James Smith
James holds down the bass guitar and vocals for SMGL and has played in bands including the Root Doctors since college. Most people know James as one of South Carolina's long serving State Representatives and 2022 Gubernatorial candidate. He's also a fan of Sting and The Police and has met Sting on more than one occasion.
Chuck Stiles
Chuck is known for being a veteran of many bands dating back to the 90's. Chuck is SMGL's drummer and vocalist. He is also a member of PHD, an original music band currently working on their latest album. Chuck has touring experience as he once was on an 8 week US tour from Columbia SC all the way to Seattle Washington. A fun fact about Chuck is that his first ever stage dive was at a Hootie and the Blowfish show. He also has a son that is following in his footsteps and is pursuing a career in music.
